APC access update w/ new update on the update

Agree I was referring more to the APC not being open.

The long time folks who have high levels of priority points and got moved out of the Green with little or no communication got screwed, especially if that not has tons of open spaces.
Leave it to Rutgers to screw the most loyal and long term fans they have.
Then they wonder why RU alum don’t want to contribute…SMH

I know there's no way around this but it is kind of weird being in the APC this year surrounded by the coach's cars. Every spot was filled with a car except women's gymnastics ironically. Coach Pike has a nice Maybach. I'll be more concerned with the cars out in the open then with people walking through the building.

Well they did let cars in west bound from the business school which they blocked last game. Corrected one nutty decision.
Walked around garage. Not sure if they allowed fans through the building .

Any updates to APC parking after all the barking here?
Nope! Same old walk around the building. Drives me nuts looking through the door and seeing the parking deck door with a person sitting at the desk reading a book while everyone is walking around the building. Once again , it is not that the walking around , it is why?

Was this a AD Hobbs decision and the new AD just carried over or did the new temp-AD ultimately make the decisionm

It's never a good look to give fans something and then take it away. I use the APC and I gotta say, it was real nice being able to cut through to get to the lot last season. @BKIn118 is right that it's not the end of the world. But they should have found a way to make it work.

Dont get that at all...why wouldnt there be an access hallway or path built for attendees that leads directly out to the RAC

There is an access that leads directly to the RAC. RU admin just won't let it be used.

I got bumped to yellow this year, though, so not my problem this season.

Hopefully, the kind woman who manned the doors last season is just on vacation and will return soon and allow fans to cut through the building. Maybe wishful thinking on my part, but every minute counts to get to the seats before tipoff.

The other design aspect of that center that I question is why the team store does not have an outside door. So when the APC is closed, the team store can still be in operation before events at JMA are in session and open to the public.

Just got a call from a nice guy from the ticket office that was in todays meeting about issues and this one came up. Don't hold your breath, nothing is going to change "let them eat cake". Tried explaining the craziness of this but his answer was "things have changed".

I did say please let the powers to be know I used to have 16 football seats , down to six because of the constant decisions that go against the long time ticket holders. I also rattled of for 20 minutes he was nice enough to listen but nothing will change.

The last thing I said to him I clicked on the NIL group to add more to my monthly donation, I then said to myself, screw it.

Can you where the access that leads directly to the RAC is.

There is a door that looks directly at the RAC that fans can't use. If you mean some sort of tunnel/hallway connecting the two buildings (or making them a single structure), I agree that doesn't exist.

Amazing to me that they built the APC without a closed walkway between the RAC and the building for the players. Would keep them separate from the fan area

It's worth the trip to go to Scarlet Fever instead. Yes it's convenient. But the pricing in the team store is VERY expensive.

Talking to a ticket office rep might make you feel better, but it's like telling a ticket taker at Met Life to tell Woody Johnson how he's killing the Jets. Not the audience you need to be reaching.

SMH ....He is the head of the ticketing department and was asked to respond to me from the AD office. I sent multiple emails to the AD and staff and they had leadership meeting yesterday and my emails came up , as I would think any one else's email that went to them to complain. I do wonder how many people that want to see a change actually sent in emails.

Innocent question … Are there still waiting lists for season tickets for the Jets and Giants?

Thanks for clarifying. There is no reason why a covered walkway can’t be added.

The acting AD himself could have called. Shame he did not, but not surprised.

Agree. I feel really bad for the reps. They were asked to deliver really crappy news about something that was poorly handled by people at a higher pay grade who should have more accountability. My rep is great - it wasn't her fault.
