The betting man in me says we're gonna lose.....by a lot. The fan in me hopes we will make a strong showing and defend our house. We have two weeks to prepare for the first prime time game of the season on national television. Wilson talked about the mistakes, throwing out the plays that don't work, the advantage of the bye week. The team will be physically and emotionally ready for the game. Michigan State had issues with the secondary last week, especially the deep ball. McDaniels will see this and I fully expect he will ask Laviano to go long. I agree with the poster that said there is nothing like a bomb to get the juices going. The line showed much better blocking this week. MSU's d line is good but they are not Penn State, hopefully, if they avoid the stupid plays we can make them pack the box. The stadium will be packed, the stadium will be loud, the players will be juiced (not literally, don't go reporting to nj.com that steroid use is rampant). This is why I love Rutgers football. I love Rutgers football because of the kids. Two weeks from now, I will put every negative thought out of my mind (with the appropriate level of alcoholic and caloric intake) and me and my family will scream our heads off for these kids. MSU is going to be fun.
p.s. FU to all you "realists" that want to burst my happy bubble... go root for some other school. I hear Syracuse is looking up.
Edited the the post to clarify that I think penn states d line is better than msu's
