Mulcahy Begins his Rutgers Tenure Pointing Forward

Paul Mulcahy gave a quick and simple answer as to why he decided to stay home and attend Rutgers.

"The people."

The Bayonne native who attended Gill St. Bernard's School chose Rutgers over double-digit offers because of the people and the opportunity to build something special that head coach Steve Pikiell pitched to him.

Another element of the process was the RWJBarnabas Health Athletic Performance Center, which is slated to open later this summer and Mulcahy leads the first freshman class to have access to the state-of-the-art facility from the inception of their careers.
