NCAA will hammer Baylor.

There is a better likelihood that the State of Texas secedes from the union before ANY school EVER gets kicked out of Power 5 Conference.

Hence, why conferences are so wary before allowing any on in. With the money is so big, kicking out an athletic program basically gives the death penalty to the entire institution. Senators and Congressmen would get involved. It wouldn't be pretty.

If PSU was allowed to stay in after decades of harboring Sandusky to keep its football program winning, NO ONE will ever be kicked out of a Power 5 conference.

There are no lambs to slaughter in the Power 5, like a Temple in the Big East.

Baylor is a private school not a public school. Senators and Congressmen would fight for public schools like Texas Tech, Texas, Texas A&M, etc.

Not when a region of Texas would lose millions of dollars a year from TV money that would end up going to another state (When the B12 would have to bring in another program).

Big Time College Football is an economic driver for many areas that have NOTHING else. Baylor isn't going anywhere.

This is Baylor we are talking about, they are basically dead weight. They are not popular. Texas would LOVE to have them not in the Big12.

Baylor may be small but they have lots of wealthy powerful alumni.
