New 400 Bed Dorm To Open at RU-Newark In 2018

It's Newark campus though......it's going to be really interesting when the athletic department in Piscataway shepherds a new "honors dorm" that's going to be there to attract and placate athletes (and a few select peasants).

A reminder that this exists....

Apparently these have to allow for 51% peasants. That makes more sense. I wonder how the Kentucky basketball dorm selects non-hoopers.

Two other Rutgers Newark projects that are very recent. A lot of construction going on in Newark. NJIT is always expanding and much faster than Rutgers Newark. I think Prudential, who just recently build a new tower next to the Hanes building, which is also financing the Hanes project is developing real estate projects in cities that are easy commute to NYC. They are also involved in several towers being build in Fort Lee base on a recent Record article on Fort Lee developments. . I guess it really is getting too expensive to live in NYC.

I hope they provide plenty of chalk
I believe there was one murder at Rutgers Newark off campus recently as well as one murder at Rutgers New Brunwicks. Other than the suicide at New Brunwicks, no other deaths noted in the last few years.
