Where in the Boca code is inside safe a violation? The NEC has code for such installation.
Where in NFPA Code 1 is it a violation? Fire and electrical codes cross but are closely related to one another.
Unless installed outside BOCA requirements which meet NFPA regulations they are legal in NJ as installed.

This is not a well thought out design at all.

Pads and helmet stored in the above compartment. No room to hang a jersey, but it appears there is a forced air system to help dry the helmet and maybe the shoulder pads as well. They basically crammed a boat load of amenities inside the size of a small phone booth. A little person might the only one to find this setup comfortable.

Oh yeah.. wondered if they got wider seats/lockers.. seems like massive FAIL to me.
