New ticket department/agency at RU

Very interesting.

But I hope "“Innovative engagement with consumers" doesn't mean calling me at dinner time to ask if I want to buy more tickets.

Prepare to be disappointed. I used to have PSU season tickets and my boy Jim is still relentless. Thank god nobody else from sticksville Pa has reason to call me and I can just send him to voicemail.

How about: Have a clue?
I don't expect untrained college kids to have a clue. They are there to earn a paycheck not retain and grow a fan base. If they aren't trained they will go through the motions.

We purchased a block of 30 tickets for the PSU game this past season. the PSU ticket rep Brandan could not have been more helpful. arranging to put us in a less hostile area of the stadium, giving us a group ticket price, calling to make sure we didn't need anything else and even following up with us after the game to be sure that everything went smooth.

If this is what IMG-L is about it will be great. I just hope that Analisa keeps her job because she is very good as a RU ticket rep.

I think the College Graduates you are talking about would take offense to your post.

You should hear her talk about Maryland.... You would think she worked there

Wow... they were college graduates? I thought they were just students trying to pay for next semester's chemistry book. They all seemed like hardworkers to me. Probably fresh out and green behind the ears.

The general ineptitude must have come from management.... or lack there of.

I'm guessing the new firm's first recommendation is raise prices and eliminate consecutive years buying from the Priority Points scheme.

You said you used to have PSU tickets. Out of curiosity, what was your reasoning for no longer purchasing them?
your atrocious schedule....lol
actually that was part of it. I have a group of 6 guys that go to one game somewhere across the country every season. Additionally, my wife and kids usually travel to one non RU road game each year. A few years ago, I wanted to bring my wife and kids to watch PSU Michigan White out. Most important thing for me were 5 good seats together. At the time, it was cheaper for me to buy a 4 game mini plan than scalp tickets. The following year my friends and I chose the PSU OSU night game. Again, it was cheaper to buy season tickets and scalp(or give away to vendors I work with) all the other games than to try and buy quality seats together. my decision to not renew was based on a comparison of RU and PSU's schedules. If PSU had any decent home games when RU was away I might have purchased them again. As much as I despise your university and JOPA, I actually find your RV lot and the fans there to be a good time. Granted, as long as I don't mention despising JOPA. lol.

So...will someone at the ticket office actually pick up the phone this year or do we still have to leave our phone number and get a call back???

Ha, I was assuming you'd say the schedule, though it'd be odd to cancel now for that reason seeing as how the home schedule becomes much more attractive over the next two seasons. But your further explanation makes a lot of sense.
