In case there are any hockey fans out there, I would like to extend an offer for a ticket discount to Rutgers Football fans/Rutgers alum.

If you're interested, please shoot me a message or email so I can send you the link to complete the transaction. I'd love to see some of the Football folks at the Prudential Center this season!

post your email Yoshi! BTW..we miss ya at Rutgers games.

Sent message on your home page. Not sure how the msg system works here
Jumba please let me know what email address you used. We're rebuilding my site to incorporate NJ Devils and UA branding; I'm not sure if the forms are working properly on the old site. I responded to roughly 10 folks so far. Would love to have more people. I'm also in the works of putting together a LeGrand night where guests will be able to help contribute to Big E's philanthropic work.

What is the discount? What kind of prices are we looking at?

Thank you to everyone who reached out. I hope to see you at the Prudential Center Soon.
What I didn't put in the post was COMPLIMENTARY tickets. I wanted to make sure that it was legit Devils fans or people interested in hockey and the experience that we provide at the Prudential Center that received the comp tickets for a game.

In the near future, I'll have a link and steady promotional code to share with everyone that will provide a steady discount and seating options.

For the 40 or so people who were able to take advantage of the complimentary ticket links that I provided, enjoy and I hope to see you at the Prudential Center soon!

Really nice offer. To bad the Devils are no longer in the Meadowlands. We made one trip to the Prudential Center and would not return.

The Rock in Newark is WAY better then the meadowlands..new bars..resturants opening up around arena, plans approved to build mega mall across street with indoor connection to Penn station Newark.

I'll be throwing down a few beers at Bellos Pub and then Edison Ale House pregame.

I like the 7:30 start for Friday night games, an extra half hour of bar-gating.

We are up there in years and don't live in an area with a train line. Driving in Newark is not something we would consider.

I drive to the games and have never been concerned about it. If you're coming from 78, you are barely doing any driving in Newark before or after the game.

We are from Sussex County and would take 80. We hate the parking and trying to negotiate the streets in and out of Newark. The last time we drove in, which was about 4 years ago we became horribly lost.

Called my childhood friend abut this post (Father big pharma alum, was ahead of Pharma School namesake Ernst Mario whose son was in my HS homeroom). I remember watching former owner Jeff Vanderbeek (I though it was his brother but a local paper said it was Jeff) star for my HS Bridgewater East vs Carteret? on NJ UHF TV from Convention Hall in AC in the 1974? Group 3? State Championship Football game. Mhy friend lated played with Vanderbeek's youngest brother.

Years later my friend is now head of trauma at a "Local" hospital. One of the surgeons has a season ticket in the then $252? level. My friend took me a few years ago. Though somewhat dull game the seats (though with the food it was somewhat cramped) and sitelines were incredible (vs horrendous seats we once had behind the goals at the Meadowlands Arena) For "$252" I think we got a $20 food credit for decent "bar food". I believe there was ice cream, toppings and candy in a really nice bar like lounge area-felt like I was in Willy Wonka land.

I've also seen a few concerts at "PRU" including the 1st even Bon Jovi show (couldn't find our will call line and think we were supposed to walk the red carpet but were late and got to walk in side red carpet. Just the looks alone (Piscataway Mike and I had...). Also saw Pearl Jam and one other show there. The upper levels have a bad reputation due to steepness? but the lower level site lines are great as the sound.

Though the "Garden" has that historic element one nice thing about taking the train to Newark vs New York is that one can take the Raritan Valley train line (no need to drive myself from Bridgewater to NB, Metuchen or else to get a direct train to NYC). PRU is a 10 minute or so walk at most from the train. The times I went there were even guides from the Center coming off the trains.
