NJ Penn St Recruits - are you watching?

They maybe watching but probably not reading this board [banana]

No we don't. Can't root for Penn State ever.
I didn't say "we." Personally I find the arrogance of SEC fans and their lackeys in the media worse than the Pennsylvania Agricultural School. But not by much.

Hey guys, PSU only got 2 from NJ so far this year, and one of the recruits (Michael Dwumfour) didn't have an RU offer when he committed to PSU, and is considering a visit since Ash came aboard.

Embarrassing loss.

One thing I have to give to Pennsylvania State. They lead the nation in grown men wearing face paint.

Penn State beat us this year handidly and is giving Georgia a run for their money. They see a program with unwavering fan support and a traditional power. Pretty much the same for Michigan and Ohio State. We need Ash and staff to bring energy and hype to Rutgers like never seen before to out recruit those programs in NJ.

We needed a break from going to bowl game this year.
Who has the money and time to travel to exotic locations every year?
We will all be set for next year. Let's shoot for Rose Bowl.

UGA may not have a head coach but they still possess the talent from their years of recruiting very very well. How hard could it be to run the schemes they ran through 12 games already? They were 9-3 coming in while we were 7-5. We're not embarrassed at all. We were 7pt underdogs, we lost by 7pts. At least we watched our team play in the post season, what time does RU play again??? Have a good offseason, I'll see you in November at HPSS.

And just so you know, I'm just busting chops here so don't take the jab too seriously.

More important look Saeed Blacknall, the snake oil salesman sold him on PSU, he is basically the invisible man.

Georgia looked like they started playing not to lose in the 3rd when it was 17-3.
That , in my opinion, is why PSU made the game closer than it should have been.

If RU wants to stop Jersey kids looking at Penn St, Ash needs to show Jersey HS talent that he can make RU a better program than the Nits are supposed to be.
Being a traditional power and having the media fawn all over you gives Penn St a great recruiting edge over Rutgers right now.
Also being fairly close gives the Nits an advantage when it comes to the NJ talent that wants to leave the state, but would like family and friends see them play..
Winning will take care of most of the recruiting problems that Rutgers has been having, but that winning has to go with RU playing the top B1G programs competitively.
The hype Penn St gets from the media and the way the NJ HS talent see the passion in the Nittany Lion fanbase, makes recruiting against that program a hard job to accomplish when going after the same talent.
To overcome that RU FB has to show it will be among the best.
Penn St is given that by the media every year, whether it's the truth or not.

And Mike "Stone Hands" Gesicki, the self appointed "Baby Gronk", was benched for incompetence. I read an article where he said he gets about 30 tweets a day from PSU fans, most of them mean spirited. Gave me a good laugh.

Penn State made a bowl. good friend of mind is Penn State fan. Thinks they had easy schedule and 7-6 is not good enough. They played Illinois last two years and next year we get Illinois finally.

Oh ok. What bowl game did we play in? You have some mental issues. Maybe take a breather from your 100 posts per day.

I'm sorry, please show me where I mentioned RU and the bowl game we are in. Thanks.

Since you ask Chippy, Ash is an unknown. Franklin is a known poor coach.

Please don't put PSU at the same level as UM and Ohio State. Not now and not historically.

I like this time of year - it's nice to see you guys get your delusions back up that you're anywhere near us as a program. Makes it more satisfying when we beat you again.

Hey dipsh!t - RU had a disaster of a season and we only had 2 more losses than you.

And here's something that will make you wet all over, you're closer to us than the big 3 in our division. Ouch.

While I don't think Franklin is the answer for Penn State they put up a very good game against Georgia. Let's hope we could put up a better effort against them next year before talking smack.

Georgia would have beat us by 50 this year. Stop embarrassing yourselves.
