Team battled vs someone who ran them off the field in this spot last year. Closed the gap considerably on SB compared to last year's thrashing. No shame in how this game/season ended. Now we need to figure out how to take the next step and get to the Second Weekend. Maybe we need 1-2 more offensive threats in the portal or a dominant FOGO. All 8 ranked teams are set to move on so we need to figure out how to get into the Top 8 moving forward.

Great job Ladies. Looks like the SB goalie won the game. We are, no doubt, getting better but not quite at that next level yet.
Recall one of our posters predicting that we would roll through the first two rounds & be on to face North Carolina. I responded that SB ran us off the field last yr.
Never good to get ahead of yourself, especially when you don't know much. But as we all know "empty barrels make the most noise".

Agree 100% we need to start getting the top girls it still comes down to talent and the top girls still want to go to the UNC’s and Maryland of the world

Took a few steps forward, and matched the NCAA tourney result.

Expecting B1G things next year!!!

We were 0-7 on free position shots. Huge difference maker since we were second in the country on FP shots at 56%.

That aside, SB’s defense was suffocating in the 2nd half, and when we did get a shot off, their goalie was gobbling everything up.

SB led the nation in goal scoring defense at 6.53 per game, and we only scored 7.

Terrific season for Rutgers, no shame in losing a tight game on the road to the #7 team in the country.
