No. 4 Rutgers Women's Soccer vs. Maryland

Need to shoot more. MD fouling like crazy since that is all they have and Ref needs to start giving cards for excessive fouls.

Ref is struggling with MD physicality. Letting too much go and out of position. Relying way too much on AR's. He has three gears....Slow, slower, slowest.

Ref killing this game as usual. Good scouting by our opponent coaches as they all have fouled us a lot this year, knowing the refs won’t call everything. Takes us out of our rhythm. Feels like a game we’ll have to get a breakaway and win 1-0

Agreed ref is allowing them to just keep fouling us and taking out of our rhythm

Ref is way over his head for this matchup.. His head is spinning and pouting like a child for getting yelled at by Mike.

Dang … 0 goals in 2 games … when did UMD get good in soccer?

For now we are fundamentally and tactically better all around. The brand of soccer they play will put a player on the injured list. They go to ground way too much. I appreciate giving up your body but they will have injuries galore.

Coach Meg Ryan Nemser was a stellar defensive player for Rutgers and after watching her work on the sidelines as a Rutgers asst. coach, I always thought she would be a great head coach.

As others have said ref was awful & Maryland was beyond physical. Dirty comes to mind.
Daigle needs to sit until she learns to not play with the ball at her feet & turn it over.
Ladies certainly played better than Thurs.
Meg Nemzer Ryan will make this a tough program to play. Kenny Wright is on her stalf.
On to Northwestern. Go RU!!!

Take the win and be happy but Rutgers needs to score more than one goal in two league games.
