Noon kickoff for Iowa.

Sucks, but we are playing a top team on ABC or ESPN. This is what we wanted. Let's win this week and then get ready for a big game. Weather channel long term forecast shows temps at 81.

It's actually an 11 a.m. start for the Hawkeyes' body clocks, right? They'll have it tougher than we will because it's easier to gain an hour than to lose an hour, at least for most people.

This is the one thing I always disliked about the B1G even before we were members. Noon starts just about every week.

Get your lazy butts out of bed, make it a breakfast tailgate with plenty of eye openers and get into the stadium for kick-off. You want to be big-time? Act like it.
Since we are usually out and set up at 8am for 8pm games "laziness" is not especially a problem. The duration of the tailgate for noon games is.

In the Big Ten, get used to noon starts.
Fail. When your team blows or you are playing a team that blows, you play a nooner snoozer.

Good programs plays at 3pm or 6pm. Great programs play at 8

I don't get why people think this is a new thing. Big 10 plays a lot of games at noon. Get used to it people

100,000+ Michigan and Ohio State fans have dealt with this for a long time and it doesn't seem to bother them. I've been to quite a few noon games at the Big House and the tailgating is just fine. Chronically challenged Rutgers fans seem unable to cope with .... well, just about everything.

Seriously.

I look forward to waking up to RU football and watching the first quarter in bed. Noon starts might just be my favorite.

Noon games suck for those of us with family commitments for fall sports. Pretty much any other time works better. Heck, give us a Friday night game, that works great.

The majority of the fanbase would disagree.

Absolutely no truth in this, in my opinion.

But we'll be there at 7 as usual for a noon game.

Ohio State's games time are listed up until the Nov 5. Every single game is 3pm or later EXCEPT FOR ONE. GUESS WHO THEY ARE PLAYING A NOONER SNOOZER?

When you are not good, you eat a ... ... sandwich.

Is it my imagination, or were we playing some noon games *before* we entered the B1G? Didn't they happen sometimes when we were in the Big East or AAC? I agree they're a hassle but surely the great majority of our fans can adjust.

You've GOT to be joking with this, right?

Indiana must be a powerhouse:

7:30
4pm
3:30
8pm
3:30
already scheduled.

Illinois is a major powerhouse!

3:30
7:30
4pm
3:30
3:30
already scheduled

The best B1G games are going to be at 3:30 on ABC. (or 8pm if they're scheduled in advance) No questioning that. The next 2 best games are usually noon games...and the 4th best is usually another 3:30. Has nothing to do with records, in my opinion.

Well, I have friends from IA coming out for the game. I told them that I was bummed that it's a nooner and this was his response:
"that's one hr later then what we are used to. Can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning"...

I'm not a fan of noon games either, but we'll be there bright & early.
