Probably. His coach sent out this tweet after we visited so there is some level of acknowledgment there. Hey, I say keep recruiting him til he and his handlers say no thanks! He would be so ideal from a roster fit perspective beyond his talent level. One and done?
Yes, that was Darius BazleyI thought this guy decommitted from Syracuse and was going to find path (D or G League) to skip college all together. Am I confusing him with someone else?
I think the staff should go all in on their recruitment of Charles Bassey for the last spot in the 2019 class, and not even try to recruit anyone else
Exactly! Go big or go home! All of our eggs in one basket - why didn't Pike think of that?

Not a good strategy. He may never play in college. It’s a complete wild card.Exactly! Go big or go home!
My post is meant jokingly. Though I would be very curious to see if we continue to recruit him and if he'd actually give us the time of day.Silly to say don't recruit anyone else.
I thought the sarcasm was evident in a post where I referred to the #3 player in the country as "pretty good." Was just trying to have a little fun after they Mulcahy news. Would love any of the above kids, though if we don't take a center we will have a small lineup and will be playing with fire a bit with Johnson as your only 6'10" guy.We are recruiting Koulibaly and Massoud (etc, etc) as bigs as well. Coach would be a fool not to look at this kid (if he has any interest ), but the idea that Coach Pikiell stopped recruiting the other bigs we have been looking at is a silly thought even for this board.

Don't quit your day job.:)My post is meant jokingly. Though I would be very curious to see if we continue to recruit him and if he'd actually give us the time of day.
I've been told I'm quite funny actually! Internet message boards (or text messages, email, etc. for that matter) aren't the place for subtlety, I know.Don't quit your day job.:)
He probably just doesn't know that helm should be singular, kind of confusing it with "reins".Probably just me, but it seems between the hashtags/@'s & character limits, new media is just totally butchering the language. No quality control & you get things like 'covfefe' and 'great hands with this man at the helms'. Reminds me of that internet meme where you can actually read the paragraph but it is missing letters or contains misspellings.
Concerning Bassey, I'd think a one & done is not what the program needs currently.
LOL. She was a great singer. I had to look up to see if she is still alive - she is - 81 years old.I would be happy with Shirley Bassey.
3 of those 5 had very successful NBA careers, that's a good ratio even for 5* players.only the 2nd year in a row with a top 10 commit at WKU.
No coincidence I'm sure that WKU's coach Rick Stansbury just spent 14 years as HC in the SEC with Mississippi State who has had their own share of suspiciously awesome recruits over the years despite almost no major on court success. 5 star recruits like Rodney Hood, Renardo Sidney, Monte Ellis, Jamont Gordon, Travis Outlaw, etc. all signed for Stansbury while at MSU.
Surely they can't be signing up for the player development he showed for those 5 star recruits who had very little on court success.

I think most people are starting a Gofund me for the statue once he takes us dancing the first time, forget 6 trips! At least one of those kids was a head case and another transferred to Duke.
I'm not a fan of Stansbury but he did take Mississippi State to six NCAA tournaments and five NIT and finished first, tied for first or second in the SEC West seven times during this time at a school where the athletic department probably spins more attention on three other sports (Football, Spring Football and
Baseball).
If Pikiell stays at Rutgers for 14 years and takes the program to six NCAA Tournaments there will be some fans who will be writing the school demanding a statue be built for him.
