BB Recruiting Omoruyi releases top eight schools

i say Kentucky because of prior connections with Roselle Catholic and that is a one and done type school.

If we make his next cut then RU will be in the Final Four for the first time since 1976, which is nice.

I wonder if Cliff knows RU was the best team in the East in the late 1970s. It can happen again. Cmon Cliff. Make it happen.

Yes, Cliff needs to speak to Myles about RU's Engineering program. It just might help. I hope we put on a good show against U Mass and that he can come to the SHU game as well.

I hope he notices Mulcahy’s ability to pass and get the big men the ball....totally unselfish.

I would love to hear Calipari's answers to questions about the Kentucky Engineering department.
Won't matter. It's highly unlikely he'll major in engineering. The coursework demands of just about any type of engineering degree makes it almost impossible to carry that kind of major as a student-athlete.

But it does make for good Twitter content

Russ... Rutgers has a current center, Myles Johnson carrying that load.

Myles is the complete outlier. This kids a 1-2 and done kid. I hope he wants to stay local. It’s KU or slight chance us I feel

I would love to hear Calipari’s answer as to what the GPAis for Kentucky players!! Can’t be higher than 1.0 you think any of those one and done players go to class!!

I think RU needs to get past thinking this is an academic item over basketball. RU is the place and campus with location and that has to be the pitch.

I said almost impossible lol. I just don't believe the Omoruyi/engineering talk. I think it is smoke screen. I could be wrong but I'm going with my instincts.
The middle ground is that the kid has aspirations to do both, as do many kids, but the reality is hard to do.
Kids,

Great game for him to attend with RU shooting relatively well and the exciting dunks. He was at ASU (perceived leader) at Princeton on Tuesday and it took a last second shot for ASU to win with Princeton leading most of the game so he saw much different games this week.

Looking at the schools he's considering, color me skeptical that academics is that high in the selection criteria.

I thought the same. If academics are as important to him as we are led to believe, we have a helluva good shot at him with this list.

Calipari, "Hmm Engineering? Sure, we have a train station a couple miles from here. Im sure we could talk to somebody and let you drive the train."
If he wants to be an engineer, Rutgers will have a very good shot, if he “wants to be an engineer” he will go to Kansas.
