Opening Day, NCAA Final and Masters. Best sports week!

There isn't a better sports week on the calendar. Opening Day in baseball is the official confirmation that Spring has arrived. Then tonight they rap up the NCAA's biggest tournament with Wisconsin/Duke. The rest of the week the world focuses on golf biggest and best major. The Masters.

There maybe bigger single day events but there is nothing like this first full week in April!

I agree with the title of this tread which will make my morning WFAN listening enjoyable hearing all about it - That's just it, hearing about it.

9:20pm start time on a Monday night. Whatever. I'll be in bed just like Saturday night. Now, the Masters, during the day is sweet. The way Baseball used to be. Haven't seen a WS in decades.

At least baseball gets Opening Day right. Only one "night" game today. A 6:10pm start at Houston. All others will are day starts.

Agreed. And we're hot and heavy in the late regular season for hockey, basketball and Euro league soccer, so the matchups are more intense and important (especially in soccer, since they don't do the playoffs thing).

They will crush all others in that time without any of them. Ratings were down last year on Sunday because it was over after the leaders made the turn.

Besides that Augusta could care less about ratings.

Home from being out for Opening Day and watching the Dodgers listening to Vin Scully. Besides Doc Emrick is there a better sports announcer??
