the annual thread
great to get back to the Big M for the Hambo this Saturday. Didnt go last year with limited attendance allowed and masks so it wasnt worth it. This time, full attendance and no masks..yeah. Have only missed 2 Hambos in the last 26 years.
Going to be one of the most competitive and wide open Hambos in recent years. Captain Corey is the fave but a case can be made for at least 6 or 7 horses most notably Sonofamistery. As usual a strong undercard with the Oaks headlined by Lady Chaos and Bella Bellini. The Lady Liberty with Lyons Sentinal, John Steele with Atlanta, Cashman Memorial with the mare Manchego, Fire Start Hanover in the Shady Daisy, Perfect Sting in the Cane Pace and two divisions of the Sam McKee featuring the likes of Cattlewash and Nicholas Beach. Should be an outstanding day of racing.
