OT: Announcers at OK St and Texas

What grinds my gears is when the announcers complain about how long an official review takes. Now, sometimes it takes them a long time, I agree, but nowhere near as long as the unrelenting commercials. When they go to official review, they should require that it takes at least a minute, and then run one of those commercials. Instead, we get commercial after touchdown, commercial after kickoff into the end zone, after every change of possession, and on and on. Use the reviews for commercials and cut the total game time by ten minutes.

(EDIT: Oh yeah, they just complained about review on the Texas/OK State game. That's what brought this to mind.)

Interesting play by the kicker. He's an Aussie and I think a rugby player. His kick out of bounds is a very standard rugby play after the scrum half gets the ball out of the ruck. In rugby, you almost always kick the ball out of bounds when you're in trouble (referred to as putting the ball into touch on the full).

Maybe the kid couldn't square up more than that, but man did that remind me of a rugby play.

And btw, Go the All Blacks!

The only thing I can possibly think of on the holding call on Texas is that it was on somebody else and they reported the number incorrectly.
