OT: Arizona

There was a thread that covered a lot of this in July that you should look for. I personally love AZ and will retire there. My wife and kids spend about 5 weeks there every Summer while I commute back and forth. To be honest, not sure what it would be like for someone who works. I can't imagine wearing a suit when it's 110 but I don't plan on working so I don't care. It's the pool or AC for me....

I sent the OP a message. One advantage of Prescott is it is a good deal cooler than Phoenix. We landed in Phoenix on Monday. It was 105 in Phoenix, 88 in Prescott and 95 in Sedona--where we stay. 95 with low humidity is very tolerable. We plan to retire here also. It is quiet in Sedona, but Flagstaff is 40 minutes away and has a decent amount of activities. The outdoor activities in Sedona are unparalleled. I We are contemplating having a small place in NJ for the summers to get our fill of the beach and the shore, but I think we will spend most of the year out here.
