Rumors are WR Noah Brown broke his leg at practice. Media availability was abruptly cancelled. Huge blow to OSU if true.

Meyer had singled Brown out as a guy that was going to have an impact on offense this year. However, it's Ohio St. I'm not a big rankings guy but they have a handful of players at WR who were among the top 25 at their position according to the gurus...so while it would hurt, it's not the end of the world for them.

OSU's second string would still go 8-4 with a decent bowl.

Looks like a medical red shirt year for Brown...best to Brown for a speedy recovery.

Its insane how good they are. Sucks for the kid, but if 2 QB's didn't kill them, i dont know what will.

He was supposed to be a big deal for them this year. So much so that this injury could have an impact on who will be QB.

Pretty sure he already redshirted and you only get a 6th year if you had 2 medical RSs.
He has not redshirted.

Actually a big blow for the team. Especially for the VT game with Corey Smith, Jalin Marshall and Dontre Wilson already suspended. Noah was going to have a breakout year this year.

I don't want to see anyone get hurt, but I couldn't care less about Urban Meyer and his team.

Doesn't matter. They lost their opener last year and won the NC. Not sure why we see the hand-wringing on this board. Noah Brown is not a NJ/Rutgers guy. And it matters little if they lose their opener.

They have 3 more Noah Brown's behind him. They won't miss a beat.

Edit: make that 8. They have 8 4* wide receivers behind him.

If you are not playing in a game, how do you become good.
OSU is proving that theory wrong since they won with a third string QB last year.
They must have amazing coaching and player development.
