Kudos to Bre for telling the world of this terrible experience in such an eloquent manner so that others can feel free to speak.
To often the story remains untold , when hearing about it might give another the courage to speak up about what once was the unspeakable and still very hard to admit for most victims today.
This is so sad for it to to happen to a nine year old, but is so happens so often to younger children. I wish her all the very best and peace.
In every news cycle you will never see any tales of sexual violence gun violence or verbal abuse by women. Is it testosterone??Is it alcohol? Is it a society that has always said thatvwhat happens to women and children is naughty with a wink and a nod?It is all of these things plus plus plus. And it isnt just here. It is in every little village or big city in every country on earth..Weinstein. Spacey..Ad infinitum.If there are no screams then none will be heard. I know fear freezes the tongue from crying out but what happened to this amazing woman will never stop until those who influence our moral vision, certainly not Mr Trump , say enough physical and sexual violence ,enough guns, and enough ignorance. I am off the soapbox now.
