This topic is right in my wheelhouse. My senior thesis was titled, "Jingles in Television Commercials: Their History and Effect on Human Purchasing Behavior."

The fact I can sing jingles for dozens of ads makes me a hit at cocktail parties. [laughing]

I got a B+ on my thesis. My research and methodology was top-notch, but my conclusion wasn't as thorough as it should have been, according to my prof.
