What was the deal with the Christian sermon before the game? Is that normal in every group of America? lol

Is it just me or does it seem like the video is a half-second or so ahead of the audio?

Canada with plenty of chances, but have not been able to make the final pass for top scoring chances. And Messi was stoned by the goalie and the defender in one breakaway and just missed his chip a minute ago.

Why on EARTH would you put Ecuador against Venezuela in a 70,000 seat stadium in Northern Cali?

Carli Lloyd rocking Ecuador colors. What do you all think of that early red card?

Berhalter: “we HOPE to get to the knockout round”

What the **** is wrong with this guy?

Site selection for international soccer games in the US rarely makes sense.

Why not host this one at Red Bull Arena or even MetLife Stadium? According to the US Census, the New York metro which includes North Jersey has an Ecuadorian population of 660,000, 10x the number of the Miami metro and probably 100x the number in Northern California.

Weirdest is US has never played a US World Cup qualifier in the New York area except for one qualifier versus Costa Rica at Red Bull Arena. I went to the game. Not sure why this game wasn't played at MetLife where 80,000 spectators would be in the building compared to 25,000 at Red Bull Arena. That was back in 2017, the only time the team has played in the New York metro in ten years.

A shame that the goal by Antonio (West Ham) was disallowed for offsides, as it would've been Jamaica's first ever goal in Copa, plus it would've made Mexico look bad, which is always a good thing, lol, although having said that, it was also a shame that Mexico appears to have lost their best player, Alvarez for some time with what looked like a bad hamstring pull.

Jamaica played them perfectly the entire match until those substitutions. Totally screwed up their defensive formation. Once Mexico started putting the pressure on you knew they were going to break through and get one.

Expecting a good performance tonight- certainly better than Pulisic's barber's performance 😄.

It's almost like the barber got started with the sides and then had to leave.
