I thought it was great.

Not just because of my age / gray hair. But because I am a managing partner in a start up / going through some of the same things that Ann Hathaway's character endured (i.e. finding a new CEO- or keep doing it yourself). The audience was filled (the Martian is killing it at the box office). There was a WIDE array of ages from mid twenties, thirties / forties to older folk. The thing that stood out the most was the NUMEROUS times I laughed out loud,,,as did many in the audience (the reviews have been poor to mixed).

QUESTION: at the start of the movie there was an instrumental piece (muted guitar).....and I'd love to get the song. I looked up the soundtrack and Kendrick Lamar's Butterfly / Pimps shows up....it's DEFINITELY not that.
Guessing it may be written by Theodore Shapiro ...but I don't know the name of the song.

Anyone with info...please post it here.

Thanks

PS If you'd like a comedy that isn't driven by one line drivel I'd HIGHLY recommend this film.

Can't help you with the song, but my wife and I saw the movie last week and totally agree with you.

Enjoyed it also..... I thought the movie would go overboard, like he would be instrumental in saving the company, but they kept it fairly realistic in that department

edit:.... tried to help you through googling, but no luck.... they list 13 songs on the soundtrack
I found, but none of them was a song like you describe.... I guess sometimes if they just use
a short piece of a song it does not get listed.
