OT: Ex-Oklahoma Sooner LB new head coach at Washington Twp HS

This is informational only ... ex-Oklahoma Sooner LB, a Salem NJ native, as new head coach at south Jersey's Washington Township HS. Very modest career at Oklahoma. His uncle, Damion Johnson, was an offensive lineman at Kansas State and then later with the New York Giants.

Graduated from WTHS, Class of 1980. Huge Group IV HS now (was Group III when I went there). Became known as "crowded township." One of 6 Washington Twp's in NJ. The D'Imperio brothers were from WTHS - I still have Ryan's jersey #44.

I'm from Maryland (Bowie High School, 1981, even bigger than WTHS), but have lived in Township since 1993 (although I also live in Atlantic City). All TWP fans are excited about the new hire. I've run into a few players who were loving the new style and panache this guy has brought (they were doing spring workouts or something).

I'm pretty sure he was an assistant at Millville before taking this job...
