OT: Final 4--Best Album of the '80s

Before I opened the thread Appetite for Destruction was the first thing that popped in my head.
Sorry, other than U2 it's like asking the best Rutgers team of the Eddie Jordan era.For those semi-interested or less in the NilCAA tourney, I saw this for the Rock n' roll crowd here. I have U2 Joshua Tree edging VH 1984 on a buzzer beater for the Natty.
They had a seeding problem…

With less than twelve hours remaining in their Best ’80s Album March Madness battle, Guns N’ Roses and Van Halen are locked in an incredibly close race.After nearly 10,000 reader ballots have been cast, just 61 votes separate 1984 and Appetite for Destruction.
So we asked four of our writers to weigh in on which album gets their support in this race, before giving you one last chance to register your own vote below.
Technically, it wasn't 80's. Released in December 1979.
Although, if it was 80's would be the hands-down winner.
It was released in 1980 in the U.S.
It was originally released as a double album in the United Kingdom in December 1979 by CBS Records, and in the U.S. in January 1980 by Epic Records.
Respectfully none of these would even make my top 10. They are all outstanding, but far from desert island stuff from that decade for me
