OT: Final from Walsh: Seton Hall 54, Wagner 28

SHU has not scored more than 57 points yet and their opponents were St. Peter’s, Fordham, Wagner, and Hofstra.

They also haven’t given up more than 57 to be fair.

Going with the Tony Bennett-Virginia model. Maybe it will work. Who knows? He has to coach to what he has.

I watched the game. Seton Hall is really aggressive and really extends their defense and recovers well. However, I used to think that I saw more balls go in and out for Rutgers than anyone else, but I have never seen so many shots 3/4 of the way down that came out as what I saw from Wagner today.

Will be interesting to see how they fare against VCU on Thursday in Charleston. The rams are off to a hot start.
