Greatest tank saga of all time was the guy in San Diego who stole one from the local base at Mira Mar and drove it down interstate 15 at rush hour and ended up hanging on the median . He fought valiantly but they finally ended him . Between the OJ chase and this poor bastard I had some fun times out there..:sunglasses:
 
Has any tank had more of an effect on history than the T-34?
Probably not, but the good old M4 Sherman was the most produced tank of the 2nd World War. It was probably the most important and versatile tank used by the Allies. It was reliable, robust and available in vast numbers.

It actually faired quite well against the Panzer IV. Although it was clearly out matched once they started producing The Panzer V(Panther) and Panzer VI(Tiger). The Tiger II was a complete joke, they simply broke down. We're still talking 50,000 tanks against 7,300, we simply overwhelmed them.
