Considering the "concern" the NFL has for the violence of the game, how does the NFL hand a paycheck to Deion Sanders who applauded the Vontaze Burfict hit? Linebackers, said Sanders on the NFL Network, "are compensated to clean up."

The NFL is run by the owners & Jerry Jones is the chairman of the NFL Network Committee, which is the executive board of the NFLN. Jerry Jones signed Greg Hardy this season & didn't release him, even after pics of the beating he gave his girlfriend were released. You think he cares?

Heard what Deion said - he sounded like an idiot.....come on even if there's any question, it's Burfict, who may be up for most out of control player in the league. How on earth can you defend him on that play?????

its kinda funny... you guys watch a very violent sport (modern day gladiators) but are taken back by the violence?? The owners dont care, they make money... its business to them. You are part of the problem by watching.

The Burfict hit in the end was really bad and unnecessary, but there was an earlier targeting call that, in my mind, shouldn't have been called. What's a linebacker supposed to do when a guy goes across the middle? Just hug the guy until people help gently lay him down?
