OT: How many drinks on a 7am flight is too many

They want you drunk enough to fight fearlessly against a terrorist. Keep drimkimg. Oh damn, too drunk.

Don't listen to these pretenders. There's really no upper limit. Drink all you want. If you get sick, be quiet and neat about it, and then just keep going.

A couple important tips....

First, don't skimp on the blow. Lay 'em out thick and often.

And second, it's critically important that, between doing lines, you keep up a steady caffeine intake. I personally recommend extra strong unsweetened iced tea w/some fresh squeezed lemon juice while chewing coffee beans.

Just remember that when the plane is starting it's final approach, you'll need to return your stewardess to her upright position.

If you can remember these simple tips, you should be okay drinking 15-20 mixed drinks or all the beer you can hold.

The barf bag the airline puts by their magazine and escape instructions is there for exactly this reason, not air sickness !

Hope all of you giving funny answers realize how wrong you are taking this question lightly.
Don't any of you know that rufanpops is the pilot of that plane he's boozing it up on.
Here is a video of rufanpops right before his flight.

Yes you have a problem and who are you trying to impress with that many drinks that early in the day. I just hope you are not picking up a rental car and you get stopped or even involved in an accident. If so you must know that your ass is grass.

Enjoy your trip and party but when you potentially endanger the lives of others much less your own it's not so bright. Why is it that bragging about drinking is something that some folks find to be cool and manly?
I'm unsure if you're being serious or not

Keith..not sure of what you are saying or are serious. But I hope iou have never had a friend or family member involved in any accident or event that was tarnish by someone who had one too many. There is a difference between enjoying a good cold one or cocktail or two and between feeding an irresponsible habit or showing off how much one can "hold" and still believe you can function properly. I am sure many of us have seen the opposite and often with negative results. Like many things in life doing things in moderation and in a timely manner is often the prudent avenue to follow..

People on here are just too much sometimes. OBVIOUSLY, boasting on a message board about drinking whiskey at 7am is a red flag, but whatever. I would hope the guys had the good sense to take a cab. Assuming he did take a cab, it's his life - why should I care?

Why are people still lecturing this guy? His flight was Friday morning. He's probably home by now, after getting absolutely blitzed and titzed all weekend. He wins.

Another "only on SN" moment.

Home safe and sound. None of us did any driving, just to put that to rest, we're not that stupid. Fanu's statement summed up the weekend as well as I possibly could have. Austin is a very fun city. I definitely feel like I won, or at least I will once the hangover wear's off.
