I knew virtually nothing about WWE or Hulk Hogan but a quick web search showed two reasons why he might be booed.
1. The event was in CA and, apparently according to a couple articles I just read, HH's politics are unpopular with many in CA.
2. He apparently was discovered to have made some fairly racist statements some time ago and so there has been backlash over that.
In any event, I think Netflix, while doing very well at the moment financially, may be guilty of decisions that will be unpopular with much of their US audience (and some decisions that seem unpopular everywhere). An example is cutting shows that are popular because they don't want to pay increasing salaries to show staff (the salaries increase over time). I have been seeing more and more people complain about this, with many saying they've canceled their subscriptions over it. Also the price hikes.
Also their app UI really sucks. For example, they don't give users a means to filter out stuff they don't want cluttering up their list of content (e.g. foreign language stuff or horror genre stuff or whatever people don't like). It'd be mindlessly simple to provide that, but they don't.
The numbers are growing, but they might start losing longer-term customers in increasing numbers over that sort of stuff.
