On a flight to Newark with the Iowa baseball team. Are they any good? Any messages to deliver?

Currently second in the Big Ten standings and ranked nationally. New coach hired a couple years ago has really turned things around for the Hawks.

Iowa is serious about winning, we are happy just participating. The Iowa roster has plenty of JUCOs, a transfer or two, players from multiple states, including Florida, California, and North Carolina. The roster even includes an infielder named Fenway Parks. The Hawkeyes are serious about competing. Their staff has worked extremely hard to put together a winning roster. And their head coach has serious credentials - winning at different places under different circumstances, climbing the coaching ladder. Not a hand-picked successor. Iowa gets it ...
