OT- Is there a record somewhere of all the names of teachers from years past?

I wonder if there is a historical record of teachers from the past to present per school system. What got me thinking of this is, I just remembered that in 5th grade I didn't miss a single day of school and my teacher, who was old, gave me an unexpected gift for not missing a day. I was embarrassed at the time. I am sure she is dead now but what a nice thing she did. Her name was Mrs. Surma. I can't remember the names of some of my teachers from when I was a kid. Do you guys remember the names of your teachers that you had as a kid?

I attended a neighbor's graduation party a few years back. I got into a discussion with a 17 year old student from my old high school (Wayne Valley). There was only 1 teacher left from the time I graduated (1974). She was a very hot, young 1st year Spanish Teacher who we used to drool over in class. Now, she's the oldest teacher in the school in her mid to late 60s. Oh well . . .
