I always liked Jalen Hurts ever since he was benched in the National championship for Tua but handled it with dignity and class. He was happy for the team at the end and not upset because he was benched. Hurts was actually mediocre at Alabama. He exploded his last year at Oklahoma.
When Wimsatt committed, I think that everyone hoped that we would be getting a Jalen Hurts type player. They were rated the same coming out of HS. Instead, we got a bust.
