It's so funny you posted this because I was seriously considering starting a thread saying how they have the worst bball uniforms I have seen in a long long time.

They're supposed to mimic their 1977 national championship unis. Agree, though, they're not impressive.

The only thing that matters is if their shoulders and arms are free. A tight uniform on the torso does not restrict movement.

the trend is heading that way and notice the shorts are shorter now, you will see all the schools adopt the shorter shorts next year....will they go as low as the 70s

They've always been a little different.

I actually like that Marquette has always had a different style. The short stripes down the side (like vintage Cleveland Cavaliers) and the "Marquette" under the number make them identifiable in my opinion.

I loved that Butch Lee-Bo Ellis led championship team - Al McGuire's last team.

I doubt it. Even in the 80s they were way too short. That being said, I never understood wearing basketball shorts 3 inches below your knees, either. At or barely above the knee is perfect if you ask me.
