BTW- HT girl, is as dumb as a rock- I believe from LI but when she talks, you would swear she was from Tenn and her parents are also her aunt and uncle

If you didn't know about her goober episode she would seem ok
She says she turned down Playboy but I'm not even sure what that looks like anymore.
Being in the Pennysaver might pay more

I'm all for a good chuckle, and she does seem to have some talent, but not in front of all those camp kids. The bigger sin is losing a series to the worst team in history during wild card run.

And blowing a 5-0 lead in the process - that's rough. But my team has its own problems so no Schadenfreude from me. I also don't have anything against the Mets. Look at that thread on this board - they have to be some of the most passionate and loyal fans on the planet no matter what happens.

It's kind of crazy.

He started out making dumb videos mimicing (mocking) our very off the boat Italian grandparents and their friends.
Very funny. Basically just the stuff we would joke about to each other.

And now he's making videos with the Yankees, throwing out the first pitch for the Mets and coaching during the MLB Celebrity Softball Game with Coach Prime during all-star weekend.

All from the dumb characters he started with.

@RUPete, Some of us are the jinx. I bought tix for next Wednesday afternoon just before today's implosion. I can hardly wait to see who lurches out the spitball

Really? The A's are 16-9 since the All Star Break, including winning a series against the AL West leaders Houston. Oh, the horror!

That would be less worse than the other NY team losing a series to the other bottom dwellers of the AL West, the Angels, and getting pounded 12-2 by the worst team in baseball, the White Sox.

Hard to believe that only about a couple of weeks ago, the Mets were briefly in the top wildcard spot. Now, they might be 7 games back of two red hot teams for that spot after tonight (still only 2 back of the final spot). 2-7 vs the Angels, Mariners, and A’s is pretty pathetic.

Sometimes people do a poor job of naming threads, particularly OT ones, and those who click don't know what they're getting into. Or think it's something vaguely relevant when it's nonsense. Or there's no "OT" so looks like an RU FB post.

In those cases, it wastes everyone's time, through no fault of their own So, I say, unload your ire on the OP of such a thread with wild abandon. He deserves it.

My bad- heard someone on the radio talking about her throwing the first pitch and they had said she was from Long Island- I did not know her background but mistakenly believed what I heard.
Funny thing is- I made the Tenn statement without looking up her background myself and tried to make a joke about the parents.
Reading your post actually had me look her up this morning. And my observation about her without knowing it when I said it, was almost dead on- maybe her parents aren’t her Aunt and Uncle from Tenn but in her words- her mom is a crack head from Tenn.
to make a long story short- when you made the snarky “genius” statement- it ends up a complement and maybe I am. 😉😁😜

I don't think people are understanding the current times we are in. And it's leading to massive issues and miscommunication. This is the first pitch of a random game. This girl only became famous because of social media..her video went viral because influencers used it to get paid because they knew the public would eat it up. Her throwing out the first pitch is only being scrutinized because it's all over social media. You're all actually being programmed to be mad about this. The sky is falling, society is going down the drain because this girl threw the first pitch. 🙄 No just that "influencers" and trolls are going crazy about this all over social media. For likes and engagement....think shock jock DJ but in modern times..
