OT- Monmouth U Bench players antics

We aren't close to being a middle school team. #failure
How can a mid major school 50 miles away in the same state be better than us? It's not a fluke either.
Can we just trade entire teams?
I mean coaches and entire roster. Just make a swap.
Pay their staff $1 million for the remainder of this year.
Then we are almost guaranteed to break our NCAA tournament streak.

I think you mean rebounding as EJ was quoted as saying he doesnt practice that.
Anywho... this will be the highlight when they visit the RAC in a few weeks.

I fully expect Monmouth to beat us. If I'm providing bulletin board material for our team, so be it. Prove me wrong! I would rather be wrong that right on this one!
I have not been to ANY of his practices, but my guess he doesn't practice fundamentals at all. But, that's just me.
I can't help but relate this to the whole thing with Cam Newton. For those who haven't followed, Newton has come under really random criticism for dancing after touchdowns. Many people think it is because he is black. I don't know if it is because of that or not, but it certainly is a possibility. Makes me wonder if these kids on Monmouth were black and carrying on this way, would it be celebrated the manner that it has been. I bet it wouldn't be tolerated. At least it would be met with severe criticism from some places. Personally, I think if you do something well you have genuine joy about it, dance if you are compelled to do so. I do not like pre planned prescripted showboat stuff. I don't really see a difference whether the person is black or white either.

Love the way Cam plays the game and his enthusiasm. And happy for his success. Especially given the number of people I know that were rooting against him and predicting he would washout in the league. Same with Winston down in Tampa. Another guy who was going to amount to nothing.
I said this on the basketball board, but this "team" just looks like you rounded up the best gym rats hanging out at Werblin and suited them up.

Can't agree more. But the thing that kills me is that there are people who say that. They are, for all intents and purposes, kids playing a kids game. Have fun. Do your thing. They're winning.
