Miles Bridges declares for NBA draft and will sign with an agent

He cost himself quite a bit by coming back this year. He's a very skilled player but plays too passively to be an NBA star, IMO.

Carson Edwards from Purdue also put his name in for NBA draft, but will not sign on with a agent.

I will never forget his mother getting mad and her saying "I dont want to continue to work, I want to retire"

I think we will look back and think about how Izzo did him a disservice. Think he will be far better in the NBA than in college.

I agree. He will be a good NBA player. They were the most talented team in the BIG10, but just never got their act together for some reason. It could have been all the scandals but who knows.

Almost no one thought that Draymond Green would succeed in the NBA. Now every team in the league is looking for guys like him. Bridges has NBA talent. A lot depends on who drafts him. Michigan State has put a lot of solid veterans in the NBA during Izzo's tenure.

Izzo encouraged him to go to the NBA after his freshman year. Coming back was all Bridges' decision.

It just blows my mind how a hall of fame coach doesn’t set a player like this up to have more success. He and Jackson were criminally underused. Against man to man teams, why weren’t those two running pick and rolls?
