My youngest daughter is getting ready for college next year.

I have questions as the non custodial parent...what is required, how does my income influence the financial
decision etc.

Please drop me a line if you have experience in filling out this form ....and would be willing to discuss on the phone.

Please email me at: rutgersmo at roadrunner dot com

Thanks

We just went through it, my son now a freshman in College. The hardest part of the Fafsa, is remembering all the user names passwords you need to create. 2 for you , 2 for your kid. Write them down and save them. PS- they don't check your financials, so you if you need big loans you can be 'creative'. There are 'pay' services to help, but we knew we wouldn't want or actually need govt loans, so we didn't have to sweat it. Also you can authorize the IRS to send your tax info to FAFSA simply by clicking one of the links. Otherwise you manually put in your financial numbers. We made my son take out a small loan, just so he would have some 'skin' in the game. If your kid has great grades and and you are hoping for a scholarship then those numbers are a little more important.

PS- there are videos on You Tube to help.
