Love him or hate him, the man is entertaining, and quite the self-promoter.
I never liked him . But he is obviously one of the best and at the top of his profession . He’s had a great career
Makes me think JJ is going to give BB a blank check to coach the team. They have a lot of talent, just no leadership.
True, dumb penalties and not being prepared for big games has been a hallmark of McCarthy's tenure in Dallas. That and deer-in-the-headlights Dak being exposed against another playoff-level team in a big game.
Dan Quinn's coaching is overrated too--Micah Parsons emergence and the Dallas D stats against cupcakes and average teams make them look much better on paper than they really are. So they definitely need talent upgrades starting on defense, the secondary has been swiss cheese against, again, the better teams with good QBs. Their run defense has been beaten-up too by playoff caliber teams.

That says more about the mediocrity dominating the profession than it says about his talent.
No it doesn't. Tv is a very competitive business and that he made it to the top says something about his talents
I am not a fan of the current SAS but I do love his hate for the Cowboys. Years ago (late 90’s) when he was a writer in Philly he used to appear every week on a Sporting News Radio morning show. He was great back then. Now he is just an actor.

Any thoughts on Pat McAfee? Think he is one of the most annoying "personalities" in sports at the moment. More than Joe Buck.
Mcafee is ok. I used to listen to him on Sirius.

McAfee is not my cup of tea, but I consider him an entertainer not a sports journalist that Bayless and Smith pretend to be

Never liked him. I tried to listen to this until he started getting loud, which was the first second he opened his trap. Then it made me remember the race baiting cra0 he has done in the past in conjunction with his yelling. He's an ass.
