I saw Ottawa and Montreal on ESPN the other night and noticed the Redblacks and their alternative unis. Their version of the Block R in the front of the jersey and small jersey number on the shoulder. I think their alternative uni would work for Rutgers and I like all their unis better than what we have now, though they rely on black a bit much. Thoughts?

Hey,if the rules would let RU ,exclusively, play with 12 men on the field,I would have them wear ANY uni ,Including those designed by raving lunatics.

It was way better when the CFL had 2 teams nicknamed Rough Riders.

What's a "Redblack"?

Bill (and I can't believe I remember this), the old Ottawa team was the "Rough Riders" and Saskatchewan is the "Roughriders." Just wait until Clemson goes to the SEC and half the teams are named Tigers or Bulldogs LOL

When I Googled Ottawa last week, I used "roughriders" which brought me to a wikipedia page that said that the Roughriders folded years ago (probably when I last saw a CFL game on TV!). Then I find out that they were the Renegades more recently and for the past few years, they are now the "Redblacks". Stiil Ottawa has had a football team since the 1870s if you can believe that.
