Definitely..no reason for them to be preseason top 25 besides name recognition
Nova is not good since coach retired. Living in the past with their ranking…it won’t last.
Nova...another safety school for Catholic kids from North Jersey or Long Island who couldn't get into an Ivy, ND, BC, or Georgetown.
Rutgers is 40 in USNWR and Nova is 67.
Going to a Catholic school for undergrad over RU that isn't ND or GTown is lighting your money on fire.

Sure here’s my dipshit logic. Top 1.5% of four year schools is pretty much the same as top 2.5%. Understanding the relevance of numbers is important big Matt…hmmm logic. Suck on that.
In fairness, schools like Nova and Wake have been highly ranked forever. They didn't suddenly become bad schools. They fell this past year because the matrix changed. I assume they'll change their class composition accordingly and will jump back up in a few years. Nova is a very good school and has an excellent alumni network. (And if you're wondering, no, I didn't go there and neither have my kids. But, I am aware of many really smart kids who did not get into Nova.)
Wake Forest is a much more prestigious school than Villanova. And the current rankings do reflect that.
It's not that people go to Villanova are dumb. It's just that it's not worth it to go there versus RU, or most of the big Northeastern publics when you have in state tuition.
