I'm graduating in the next few months with my PhD in Biochemistry and Quantitative Biology. I'm in the process of looking for opportunities in and around NJ. Is anyone on this board familiar with jobs at the PhD level in the area? I've been doing a lot of searching, but it seems that many HR filters are difficult to pass through without connections. I have several already at Merck, Novartis, and BMS, but I figured I'd take a look here and see how many ScarletNationers are in the field.
Specifically, my thesis is on computationally and rationally designed peptide inhibitors for Influenza. I've gotten several patents for this and other research I've done in the past and my expertise includes NMR, various biochemical assays (circular dichroism, ITC, chromatography, etc.), molecular dynamics, computational biology, and the like.
Thanks for everyone's help in advance!
