US leads by a point going into today's Singles. Disappointed Spieth and Day won't be going head to head as most expected.

Stars of the matches for the Internationals so far have been Louie Oosthuizen and Brandon Grace who've won all 4 matches they played. Grace may be the best player in the world most don't know about. Adam Scott has been disappointing and Danny Lee can't make a putt.

For the US, JB Holmes who replaced an injured Jim Furyk has seemingly made every putt within 15 feet. Ricky Fowler started off like a house a fire and Jordan Spieth has really come around after having issues the first day.

The surprise of the matches so far has been ol Phil Mickleson. After a poor year he's seemingly found his game. In spectacular Phil fashion he's holed two sand shots, the 2nd from 135 yards out. Teaming with Zach Johnson who's been very good, they're 2-0-1. They could be 3-0 if Phil hadn't called a penalty on himself, the rules committee hadn't screwed up their decision, and over penalized him.

International has to win to keep this event relevant.

It'll be at Liberty National in 2017. That'll keep it relevant for me at least but you're right.

Add the 2016 PGA Championship being played at Baltusrol and we've got some top flight golf coming up around here.

The best is they are rubbing Phil's belly for luck.

Reed Poulter is a match I'm dying to see at the next Ryder Cup
