When you factor in paying $15,000 to $ 20,000 a year in Property Taxes the idea of having my kid after hoop practice waiting on a train platform to get home from Jersey City at 6:30 in dead of winter----eat dinner----and then do homework to me is just silly.
OK if the Catholic education thing is that important to you there's Delbarton and Seton Hall but commuting to Jersey City to me is just too much from Chatham for a young kid.
But hey-----people swear by the Jesuits.
I have a former coworker and a great friend who went to The Prep along with all his brothers---------from Sea Girt back in the late 60's.
