IMDB doesn't list his 1961 TV show on NBC,the Bob Newhart Variety Show.
I used to watch it right after Top Cat.
Both shows lasted only one season.

Saw that live and not sure I ever laughed so hard. Bob Newhart was brilliant - I used to love his appearances on Carson, which I started watching every night when I was around 10 or so (1972) - his "phone call" routines were hilarious. And his two shows were obviously also great.
