As a side note, with The Band’s connection to Bob Dylan, highly recommend the movie “A Complete Unknown”. Excellent movie.

I was in my teens when the Last Waltz was released. My musical tastes expanded greatly that day. The Band’s music holds up better than many bands I liked in younger years.

My favorite song is Don’t Do It, a Marvin Gaye cover. This is the encore from the Last Waltz and not included in the original soundtrack or movie. Not a Garth Hudson number, but enjoy nonetheless.
