Nice recognition for RU's collective scientific muscle as expressed by annual US Utility patents filed by universities (55 in 2024 for RU). We're 9th in the B1G by this metric.

The one poll is pretty specific in regards to patents, not a list of best universities

It is nice that RU is active in that area,
A few colleges, Arizona State eg, high up there

Penn State will be on the Viable College Football Teams List of about 40ish teams.

The one Pitt won't be on.

I'll accept that maybe one day Rutgers isn't on that list either if they dwindle it to 30ish teams...... but at the moment that seems unlikely.
