OT: Rutgers Mens Soccer wins the B1G

Some reasons to like Rutgers Metric Football if you follow RU Football.

Both teams only score about three points a game but in Soccer you often win with three points.
Both teams punt a lot. In soccer it's the Goalie punting.
Neither team's offense exhibits very effective use of their hands - in soccer it's not necessary!

I'll try to think of more...

Don't hurt yourself. You're not funny.

It was awesome…. Reminded me when I was there in my youth with Lalas and watching Rob Johnson flip throw ins!!

Awesome memory - spent many a night in my childhood going to watch games at RU.

Yurcak is just fine as a venue - great pitch. Agree with poster above they need to move the cameras so it doesn’t look like the field is adjacent to a dirt lot in East Orange.

If Rutgers happens to get a home game in the first round of the NCAA tourney, I would expect they'll charge for admission. Maybe something like $10.

Elite 8 women's game last November at Yurcak was paid entry. Win over Arkansas to advance to the Final 4 was well worth it.
This is correct all B1G games were free and the WSOC NCAA tourney were not free $5 or $10

Great job, Rutgers! Dominant performance!

I suspect that you will have a midweek home game, and probably on the road over the weekend...

Selection is tonight (Monday)

I suspect he's referring to the views on TV - NOT the actual stadium. The camera views were from the stands side showing the undeveloped side in the background on TV. I know the juice isn't worth the squeeze but RU would be served to move camera positions to the other side of the field.

They would have to move the press box as well, right?
To match the camera position.
