OT: Weekly golf thread

How many different golf courses have you played so far this year?

For me, its 10. Funny, I have 14 rounds posted, but on 8 different courses.

One round was a scramble, so its not posted on my GHIN, and one was played prior to the GHIN posting date.

I have only played three different courses this year: Sunset Valley, Flanders Valley and Berkshire Valley. However, I have played 57 rounds of golf(Sunset 51 and FV and BV three times each). Some of those rounds were only partial rounds (9 holes or twilight.)

Nice, played sunset valley for the first time on July 4th. Nice course and the price is right.

20 rounds and 9 courses: The Ocean Course at Kiawah (SC), Spooky Brook, Belle Glades (FL), Evans Prairie (FL), Eagle Creek (FL), Quail Brook, Navesink, Old Orchard and Neshanic. The Ocean Course is the best by far!

Let's talk clubs. Anyone playing the Titleist 716 AP1's or 2's? Hit the 1's recently and really liked them. Anyone play them on a regular basis?

This year I've only played Rutgers (multiple times), Galloping Hills, Architects, Mattawang and just got back today from TPC Jasna Polana....playing Hamilton Farms on Thursday.

30+ Rounds so far this year, which is the most I've ever played. Rutgers (1), Trump National Philly (1), Mid-ocean (1), The Ridge (about 30).

Let's talk clubs. Anyone playing the Titleist 716 AP1's or 2's? Hit the 1's recently and really liked them. Anyone play them on a regular basis?

I have the 714 AP2s. Love them. Thin top line looks great at address. Paired them with project x shafts. Feel great even with off center hits. When you hit the sweet spot the ball jumps off the face.

I was looking for a club that would allow shot making and great feedback to the hands but did not want anything to do with blades. These things are legit. Not a shot you do not think you can't make with these things.

Bought the AP2s with the 105g iron shafts this year. I really like them. I needed more forgiving clubs than my old Titleist 990s. I don't see any distance improvement but I am playing them well.
