RU just went ahead 2-1. Costly give away in front of the PSU goal.
PSU goalie looked inept there...she has to dive at that ball head first, not swing at it with her foot.
Yep. We have been getting our asses kicked this game, though. PSU is better than we are, so if we pull this out it will be a very good win.
What a difference in our team speed compared to last year. We couldn't get to the final 1/3rd last year against them, in the B1G's or NCAAs, and couldn't stop them from getting into our final 1/3rd.
Just turned it on with about 15 minutes left. We look better than them over the stretch I've watched, but the total shots and corners are way in their favor.

You tuned in at a good time, no doubt. Most of the game has been played in our side of the field, and PSU's ball-handling skills are superior to ours. Our defense is stout, though. But the last ten minutes of the game we attacked pretty well.
Actually, on a pass back to the keeper, the goalie isn't allowed to use her hands - she has to play it with her feet. She probably should've just made a sliding tackle on the ball to prevent the goal - you can do that anywhere on the field as long as you don't foul the other player (which she might've - which would be a PK and maybe a red card). Horrible error by the defender.
Take the tie on the road. Damn loss to Michigan is killing us. That was a win, very late, that turned into an OT loss. We could be 5-0-3 with a much better title shot than at 4-1-3 right now.

Dude, don't apologize for posting this here. That goal was dope and if our football players put forth hat kind of performance we wouldn't be losing games by 70 points.
Really? Had no idea. In that case things get a bit harder, but I would have let the other player touch the ball first and then dove at it as she tried to juke around me (I assume you can after the other player has possession?). Not ideal but better than flailing at it with my feet.
Weather killed us that match but agreed. We'll still make some noise again. Our best team On the Banks by far and I think they'll get us a national championship in the next 2-4 years.

It hurting a lot of teams. Penn State has 5 girls doing the same thing. This one of the reasons coaches are pushing for a split season between fall and spring.
Goalie should have taken the attacker out and took the penalty shot chance. Glad she did not do that because I don't think that ref would have called it.
